I know you are expecting a new long article, but I still have to find the time to write down all the things that happened during the last week (Introduction Week). Don't worry, this article will come. But for now I just want to let you know about a link that will directly lead you to the pictures that we are taking here. Abel, a guy from Singapore, found a site called myphotoalbum.com where you have unlimited space for pictures for free. So we decided that everyone will upload the pictures there. In the moment there are only Abel's images, but I hope the others will follow. I will upload my pics when we will have an internet connection where we don't pay per MB. I hope that would be soon. Status from Denmark

I decided to write this post in English. I just felt like it and if I like it I will continue to do this, we'll see. So what happened since my last posting? Not too much on the next two days. Most of the time I spent at home and did some computer gaming or watched videos. I only went out for shopping (only food of course) and did some cooking. Nothing special, I know, but really relaxing. On Saturday I went out to Copenhagen at around noon and I spent some time walking through the streets, I bought myself a prepaid mobile card and then at two o'clock I met Christian.We also walked around in the city and then went to Chris' flat. It's a pretty nice one not far from the center and he shares it with a Danish girl.We started cooking cause we both were really hungry and eager to get something to eat. As we have bought quite a lot of potatoes before, we decided to make some fried potatoes with vegetables. We were in such a hurry that we forgot a small step in our fantastically complicated recipe. But from now I will never forget to boil potatoes before I roast them. We wanted to make it quick, but it took us very long. We were standing by the potatoes something like 45 minutes and the result was black outside and raw inside. Well it was not that bad at least we were hungry enough to eat it. After this excellent meal we just chatted a bit and I then left in the evening. Was a nice day especially it was somewhat different from the others. On Sunday there was nothing special again; sleeping out, staying at home.Today I did some shopping (now I guess I have all the basics for cooking) and met Gustav in town. We wanted to go to a cafe and Gustav told me that he saw one that looked quite cheap on the way to our meeting point. It wasn't far and after some minutes walking we were there. When we were passing the windows I thought that it looked really cheap, but something was strange. It didn't really look like a cafe, though it said so on the front door. When we came in I was even surer that this is not a cafe. In the second room there were some people and we just asked if this is a cafe. The first five seconds nothing happened and then a lady said to us: "This is a cafe for mentally disabled people". Oops ... well ... I knew there will be some problems in a country where you don't understand things written on the door. But then we went to a really nice cafe, where Gustav has already been before. Afterwards I came back home, well here I am writing this post. Read you soon...

Einleitung und 1. Tag in Dänemark

Jetzt ist es tatsächlich so weit und ich bin in Dänemark. Ich kann es noch nicht so wirklich fassen, aber das wird mit der Zeit sicher kommen. Ich hoffe ich kann euch mit diesem Blog einbißchen auf dem Laufenden halten um euch so, einige Sachen miterleben zu lassen. Aber nicht nur ich werde hier schreiben, sondern auch die Nina aus Paris und die Kathi aus Lund in Schweden. Wenn ich die Adresse erfahre, werde ich auch auf den Blog vom Gustav einen Link setzen. Nachdem man bei der Software von Blogger leider keine Kategorien einrichten kann, werde ich versuchen die Artikel in einer anderen Art und Weise unterscheidbar zu machen. Wenn ich Zeit dazu finde, werde ich etwas umprogrammieren damit man vielleicht bei jedem von uns drei Autoren ein andere Flagge beim Artikel sieht, oder so.

Nun zu meinem ersten Tag. Nach einem Gott Seit Dank unspektakulären Flug nach Kopenhagen, wurde ich eben dort am Flughafen von meinem Buddy Morten abgeholt und er begleitete mich bis zu dem Haus meiner Gastfamilie (die Vermieter werden in den Unterlagen der Uni lustigerweise Landlords genannt). Dort angekommen traf ich meine Gastmutter, die asiatischen Ursprungs ist und deren Namen ich aus eben dem Grund leider wieder vergessen habe. Sie zeigte mir mein Zimmer und die anderen wichtigen Sachen im Haus und gab mir meinen Schlüssel. Es war ziemlich kalt im Zimmer, vor allem vom Fenster konnte man so richtig spüren wie die kalte Luft hineinkam. Aber sonst ist das Zimmer voll ok; ein Bett, ein Tisch, ein Kasten und ein Ohrsessel. Ich machte mir dann mit meinem Buddy aus, das wir uns am späteren Nachmittag in Lyngby (der Ort wo die Uni ist; mit dem Bus 10 Minuten von mir entfernt) am Bahnhof treffen und dann zu ihm in sein Studentenheim fahren. Ich packte noch etwas aus und machte mich dann auf den Weg. Ich habe sogar hingefunden und wir beide haben uns auch tatsächlich am Bahnhof getroffen.

Sein Studentenheim hat mir sehr gut gefallen und das Beste war, das für sie dort am Abend gekocht wird und ich von Morten eingeladen wurde dort zu essen. Es hat wunderbar geschmeckt, und man konnte nachnehmen, solange es noch was gab. Einfach super! Danach hat Morten gemeint ich könnte dort ruhig öfter zum essen vorbeikommen wenn ich gerade in der Stadt bin (sein Studentenheim ist direkt in Kopenhagen). Heute hat er mich wie gesagt eingeladen, aber sonst kostet es auch nur 20DK (umgerechnet 2,80€), was nicht nur für die hiesigen Verhältnisse sehr günstig ist. Wenn wir schon beim Thema sind: die sonstigen Preise sind ein Horror! Ich will jetzt nicht auf die Details eingehen, aber es ist echt schlimm. Nachdem Essen haben wir noch kurz mit ein paar anderen Studenten geplaudert und ich bin dann wieder nach Hause gefahren. Da war dann auch mein Gastvater zu Hause und ich habe mich auch mit ihm etwas unterhalten. Dann habe ich gleich meinen WLAN Router angeschlossen und kann jetzt gemütlich aus meinem Bett diesen Artikel schreiben. Er hat sich über den Router auch sehr gefreut, denn damit konnten sie das lange Netzwerkkabel, vom Arbeitszimmer ins Wohnzimmer, entfernen und auch mit ihrem Notebook gemütlich surfen - Technik verbindet!

Jetzt werde ich mir noch irgendein Video anschauen und dann mal gemütlich ausschlafen und schauen was der morgige Tag so bringt.
